John Beilein is widely regarded as one of the best offensive coaches in the college game. His system blends a spread ball screen attack with his classic two-guard offense and is filled with creative ways to generate open shots.

Some half court sets work more efficiently than others. The Wolverines only finish a possession with the following set approximately every couple of games, but when they do, they score almost every single time. When Michigan needs a basket, especially after a timeout or dead ball, it will dial up this action to create an easy basket.
