- Elite Camp starts today and Team Camp runs Friday and Saturday. Joe will be on the scene and provide nightly updates, you can also follow him on twitter.
- It’s draft day. The draft starts at 7PM this evening and this can serve as a pseudo-open thread for draft discussion. My previous thoughts are here but it’s a big night for Manny and Peedi. Chad Ford still has Manny going at #52 to the Celtics. You can see a full list of draft workouts here from NBADraft.net.
- The Flint Journal posted a great recap of Beilein’s comments at a recent alumni function. Here are a few highlights:
- Laval Lucas-Perry is a senior. If he has a big year he could come back but he’s being listed on the roster as a senior. This should come as no surprise based on Michigan’s recruiting trends.
- Blake McLimans is up to 238 from 190 pounds. Jordan Morgan is down to 240 pounds from 269 pounds.
- Beilein might be the next one to join the twitter foray. Bacari Alexander, Laval Jordan and Jeff Meyer are already tweeting.
- ESPN updated their 2012 recruiting rankings. Some notables include Gary Harris at #12 and Yogi Ferrell at #39.
