When Michigan beat Northwestern on Sunday to win its 17th straight game and break a program record for the best start to the season, there was an important face in the crowd.
Four-star class of 2020 wing Micah Peavy — who is a native of Duncanville, TX and is the No. 4 recruit in Texas according to 247 Sports — took his official visit Ann Arbor over the weekend and the Wolverines extended a scholarship offer on Sunday evening.
It seems the visit left quite an impression on him.
“I liked talking with the coaching staff,” Peavy said. “I just liked when I went to the workouts, the individual workouts, how they really focused on shooting. When we went out to eat, it was a family atmosphere with the players coming and just talking about — it was just a family atmosphere the whole visit.”
