Williams is now considering Michigan along with Duke, UCLA, Virginia Tech, Stanford, Georgetown and Ohio State. He had previously trimmed his list to seven schools on August 3rd. Williams has set official visits to UCLA (Aug 23), Ohio State (Oct 4) and Duke (Nov 1).
Williams’ sister, Elizabeth, played basketball at Duke from 2011-2015 and the Blue Devils lead in 247 Sports Crystal Ball projections.
Michigan has prioritized signing a post player in the 2020 class and expects to host both Walker Kessler and Hunter Dickinson for official visits this fall. Expect the Wolverines to angle for one of William’s remaining official visits.
Williams is an intriguing interior prospect who averaged 14.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game on the Nike EYBL circuit this summer. Here’s a look at him in action this summer.
