‘If we weren’t serious about a place, I’m not wasting my time’: Greg Brown’s visit is for real

When it was first reported that Greg Brown had scheduled an official visit to Michigan, the natural reaction was a raised eyebrow.

After Hunter Dickinson and Terrance Williams committed last month, the Wolverines already have 13 scholarships filled for next semester, albeit with some likely departures. They’re hard after five-star shooting guard Joshua Christopher. Five-star commitment Isaiah Todd, Juwan Howard’s top-ranked commit thus far, is tied to rumors that he could be lured overseas with the right offer.

“It’s funny that coaches and people ask those questions,” Greg Brown II, Brown’s father, told UM Hoops. “If we weren’t serious about going, if we weren’t serious about a place, I’m not wasting my time. My time is precious. And I have two young kids and a wife; you know what I’m saying?
