June 15th was John Beilein’s annual offer day for rising juniors but Juwan Howard plays by a different set of rules. The new Michigan head coach didn’t extend any scholarship offers on June 15th, but he had already handed out over a dozen before the date rolled along.
Despite the lack of offers, June 15th is an important date on the recruiting calendar because it is the first day that college coaches can contact rising juniors directly. Juwan Howard and his staff were active on the phones, touching base with a number of offered prospects, new targets and more.
