I have a hard time envisioning a situation where Terrance isn’t playing a lot of minutes next year. Michigan has some highly touted kids coming in but he is going to have a year of experience and is already earning time because of how hard he plays.

As far as on the court improvement… I think it’s all going to come down to shooting as far as his career ceiling.

Was MAAR really underappreciated? I feel like everyone loved to say how much they appreciated MAAR. Did anyone not appreciate what he did as a multi-year starter?

I’d go in a different direction and say Glenn Robinson III was way more underappreciated. He was a huge part of those two Michigan teams, arguably one of the best b2b years, but sort of got lost in the shuffle as far as appreciation. People were always kind of hung up on his ranking, what they thought he could be or what he wasn’t but he really made those teams work and spent two years battling his ass off as an undersized four.

If you’re willing to share, what are your future goals for the site?

This year kind of threw a wrench into things because of the canceled NCAA Tournament. Turned the year into more of a year of survival than a year of growth but it’s great to start getting things on track.

From a business perspective, the goal is to just keep building this community to the point where it’s sustainable as a long-term venture. I’d say that we are tantalizingly close to that goal but not there yet.

As far as the actual product, I’m always looking for new ideas. I think the community has come together pretty nicely on the forum and we are always looking for new content angles and the like. If there’s ever something that you guys want to see more of don’t hesitate to reach out and suggest it!

I like Bart’s site because of how aggressively he tinkers with different metrics and add things, but I use KenPom way more often because he doesn’t. If that makes sense.

I feel like Bart’s site is great to learn a thing or two you didn’t expect, but KenPom is the official standard where you can comfortably compare things YoY and really understand what you are saying within some kind of context.
