Michigan bounced back with a win on Monday evening in Athens, knocking off Olympiacos’ U22 squad, 95-62, at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.
The Wolverines dropped the first game of their tour against Fos Provence, a top-flight professional team in France, but had no problem against the Olympiacos academy squad. They’ll play one more exhibition game on their overseas trip during their final stop of the trip in Mykonos.
Michigan led 31-18 after the first quarter and 54-38 at the half. The Wolverines also dominated the third quarter, extending their lead to 78-49 before the final frame.
