Michigan’s 2023-24 roster and coaching staff sat down with the media for the first time of the season on Tuesday morning for Media Day. It was anything but a typical experience, with Juwan Howard still sidelined as he rehabs from a September heart procedure.
Behind closed doors, there’s a Michigan roster that sounds eager for its opportunity, and well aware that it was picked 11th in the Big Ten. A group of transfers ready to prove that they can flourish in expanded roles and a group of returning players who feel like it is their duty to get the program back on track after missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015.
