Big Ten announces 2024-25 conference matchups

The Big Ten announced the 2024-25 conference matchups for this upcoming conference season.

The league is expanding this year with the introduction of USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington but sticking to a 20-game conference schedule. That means that league teams will only play three teams twice at home and away, with seven single plays away from home and seven single plays at home.

Michigan will play home-and-away games against Michigan State, Purdue and Rutgers.

The Wolverines only host Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State and Washington.

They’ll travel to Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin for single games.

The games against UCLA and USC are Michigan’s only trip West to face new conference opponents on the road, and presumably will be scheduled for the same long weekend.

Michigan’s non-conference schedule has yet to be announced but the Wolverines will play in the Fort Myers Tip Off, a four-team MTE that also features South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Xavier. They’ll also host Miami (Ohio) and play Oklahoma in Charlotte, NC. Keep track of all scheduling news on our future schedules page.
