Vlad Goldin signs two-way contract with Miami Heat

Michigan center Vlad Goldin wasn’t selected in the 2025 NBA Draft, but quickly signed a two-way contract with the Miami Heat after the draft ended.

A two-way contract allows a player to be part of an NBA team’s roster and its G-League affiliate. Players on a two-way can spend up to 50 games on the NBA roster. Two-way contracts earn 50% of the league’s minimum salary, which is just short of $600,000.

Goldin averaged 16.6 points, seven rebounds and 1.1 assists in 27.6 minutes per game at Michigan. He was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in his only season at Michigan.

He was the lone Florida Atlantic player to follow Dusty May to Michigan and served as the anchor of Michigan’s offense and defense in 2024-25. Goldin began his career at Texas Tech before spending three years at Florida Atlantic with May, where he helped the Owls to a Final Four appearance.

Goldin spent four years under May’s tutelage, and his scoring average increased every season: 6.8 to 10.2 to 15.7 to 16.6 points per game.

Former Wolverine Danny Wolf was also selected in the first round of the NBA Draft at No. 27 to Brooklyn.
