2025-26 schedule finalized after Big Ten reveal

The Big Ten announced the 2025-26 conference schedule today, which means that Michigan’s 2025-26 docket is officially set.

The conference also announced that the league tournament will include all 18 teams and begin on Tuesday this season. Last year, the bottom three finishers were excluded.

The Wolverines will play Rutgers (Dec. 6) and at Maryland (Dec. 13) during the Big Ten’s slate of December games.

They’ll re-open conference play in 2026 on January 2nd against USC.

Michigan’s trip to the West Coast is set for the middle of January with games at Washington (Jan. 14) and Oregon (Jan. 17).

The non-conference schedule is headlined by games against Duke (in February), Wake Forest, Villanova, TCU, and the Players Era Festival against Auburn, San Diego State, and a third opponent based on results.

The Wolverines play twice against Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State. They’ll host Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Rutgers, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin. They’ll play at Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue and Washington.

Michigan’s first game against Michigan State is scheduled for January 30th at Michigan State, with the rematch in Ann Arbor set for March 8th as the regular season finale.
