Michigan will host Cincinnati in a preseason exhibition game on October 17th at the Crisler Center.
Tip is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. with television broadcast details to be determined later (but reportedly BTN+, per Cincinnati’s website).
The Wolverines will open the doors to the Crisler Center on a Friday night for a first look at the new-look roster with a home football game scheduled for Saturday.
The Bearcats check in at No. 32 in Bart Torvik’s most recent preseason rankings after finishing 19-16 (7-13 Big 12) last season under Wes Miller. They have 12 newcomers on this year’s roster.
Updated NCAA rules allow programs to play up to two exhibitions against Division I opponents in the preseason. Michigan will also play St. John’s at Madison Square Garden on October 25th in its other tune-up contest.
The Wolverines open the 2025-26 season on November 3rd at home against Oakland. Here’s the full 2025-26 schedule, with television and times to be announced at a later date.

Last year’s exhibition games were on BTN, I think.
I am not sure what the setup will be for these. The SJU game being on a Saturday during football season is obviously funky.
