Podcast: What we learned from Michigan’s exhibition opener

Michigan played its first exhibition game of the preseason on Friday, falling to Cincinnati, 100-98. It was our first chance to see the new roster in action, or at least most of it. Aday Mara and Morez Johnson Jr. didn’t play, which left Michigan shorthanded in the frontcourt.

Dylan and Eric discuss what we can still take from the shorthanded exhibition game, and what we shouldn’t with thoughts on Elliot Cadeau, Yaxel Lendeborg, Michigan’s freshmen and much more.

Good pod! Hard to do too much analysis given the context of how the game went though

Yeah, hard to leap to anything too much but it’s better than “a friend of a friend saw this at practice in June!”

Hoping at least Aday plays on Saturday because I really want to see his role.

I wanna see Morez bang a three and pick up a tech Will Tschtter style

For some reason this podcast makes me want to bet with a sportsbook

Feels like Morez banging a 3 is simultaneously the best and worst thing that could happen in an exhibition
