Just realized that this game was on BTN+. Don’t understand why, given McNeese made the tournament two years in roll and won the first round last year.

The best games tonight (Mich/McNeese and Kent St/Purdue) got pushed to BTN+, probably so BTN could sell more subs.
Delaware State/Rutgers is on BTN proper at the same time.

Schedule is also just tricky… everyone trying to get a game in before conference play resumes but give enough time for kids to go home for Christmas, teams probably rather play at 7 than a day game, and nobody wants to go up against bowl games so everyone tries to jam a game in today.
I’m also guessing that every team has some sort of quota for non-con games on BTN (and maybe BTN+?) and the fact that this is probably one of the worst days ratings wise (guessing?) leads to bad teams getting picked for one of their spot?
