Michigan heads on the road for the third time this season to face Penn State (7:00 p.m., FS1) tonight.
Penn State enters the game at 9-5 overall and has done the job against its very soft non-conference schedule (353rd nationally in NC-SOS), but has lost to all five top-100 opponents it has faced.
Penn State was competitive in a home loss to Michigan State (76-72) and a loss at the Palestra to Illinois (73-65) on Saturday, but has shown that the wheels can fall off, too, with an 80-46 loss to Pitt in Hershey, PA, and a 113-72 loss at Indiana.

The Nittany Lions
Penn State’s offense is ranked 93rd in adjusted offensive efficiency, but it has flatlined against good teams. In five games against top-100 opponents, Penn State is 0-5 and scoring .93 points per possession with an eFG% under 51% in each contest.
In three Big Ten games, the Nittany Lions are ranked 16th in scoring output at .996 points per possession, and 15th or worse in eFG%, offensive rebounding rate, free-throw rate, and 3-point percentage.
