This Saturday at 12:30 PM ET on CBS, the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee will reveal its top 16 teams, an in-season dry run before the real selection process begins in earnest next month.
Michigan, after a comprehensive Quad-2A win at home against UCLA over the weekend and a sparkling Quad-1A win on the road against Purdue a couple of nights ago, will almost certainly flash across your screen as the nation’s number one overall seed in the preview bracket’s Midwest Region.
Virtually the entire bracketology community, including your author, has Dusty May’s squad at the top of the seed list, and if you’ve been following this basketball team at all this season, I don’t think you’ll need me to work too hard to convince you.
Frankly, the more the Wolverines keep winning, the less there is for me to say about them. So why don’t we just admire the team sheet and let the numbers do the talking:
