Michigan fell to Duke in Washington, D.C., on Saturday night, a game it controlled for much of the first half but trailed throughout the second. The Wolverines didn’t play their best basketball, but facing the No. 2 defense in the country certainly played a part.
Yaxel Lendeborg got off to a great start, and Michigan’s bigs were able to score down the stretch, but there was more to learn from than to celebrate in the loss. Michigan will hope to take those lessons and apply them to the postseason, where similar tests await.
