Primer: Michigan 2026 NCAA Tournament time, TV, ticket and streaming information

Michigan will open the 2026 NCAA Tournament against the winner of UMBC vs. Howard at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday on CBS.

Jim Jackson, Brian Anderson, and Allie Laforce will be on the broadcast.

Michigan will learn its first-round opponent on Tuesday night. UMBC and Howard will play on Tuesday at 6:40 p.m. on TruTV.

The Wolverines are the No. 1 seed in the Midwest regional and would face either No. 8 Georgia or No. 9 Saint Louis in the round of 32.

No. 2 Iowa State, No. 3 Virginia, No. 4 Alabama, and No. 5 Texas Tech are the other top teams in the bracket.

Streaming Information:

All games available live in their entirety across TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – and NCAA March Madness Live. Games airing on CBS will also stream live on Paramount+. Games airing on TBS, TNT and truTV will also stream live on HBO Max.

Ticket Information:

All of Michigan’s first and second round games will be played at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY. Games are on Thursday and Saturday in Buffalo.

Midwest Regional:

The Midwest regional semifinals and finals will be played at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Midwest regional games are scheduled for Friday, March 27th, and Sunday, March 29th.

    I’m very sensitive to jinxes, but I think that it’s possible for Michigan to beat Howard or UMBC.

    Any thoughts on what time the Saturday game would be? Michigan St and Louisville both play in Buffalo earlier on Thursday, so is it safe to assume MSU would play earlier on Saturday too?
