Michigan extended a scholarship offer to four-star big man Race Thompson during his campus visit this week, according to a report by Ryan James on Northstar Hoops Report and Scout.com.

Thompson is ranked 80th nationally according to the 247 Sports Composite. He holds offers from Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa State, and Marquette. He also just completed a visit to Indiana this week.
Thompson is averaging 14.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game on the adidas Uprising circuit with D1 Minnesota. Here’s footage of him in action this spring:
Thompson is the Michigan has one commitment — from four-star point guard David DeJulius — and now 8 outstanding offers to Pete Nance, Ignas Brazdeikis, Jerome Hunter, Robby Carmody, Brandon Johns, Damezi Anderson and Noah Locke.
