Charles Matthews is coming back to Michigan.
Matthews first season in Ann Arbor featured some dramatic climbs and falls. Early on in the year, he was a prolific scorer. When he scored 28 points in a Maui Invitational loss to LSU he looked capable of featuring in a dominating two-man game with Moritz Wagner. But teams made adjustments to how they guarded him and he wasn’t able to find consistency with his jumper.
