Michigan was the last team to take the court at the United Center this week but didn’t waste any time rounding into postseason form.
The Wolverines were looking for an edge after a disappointing finish to the regular season, and they showed one on Friday evening. They jumped on Iowa out of the gate and coasted to an easy 74-53 win — a record ninth in a row in Big Ten Tournament play.
It was a balanced and dominant performance by a Michigan team that entered the game facing a crossroads.
