Defining offseason priorities as team returns to campus

On Monday, Michigan announced its plan to welcome the basketball team back on campus. On Tuesday, the NCAA announced a proposal for allowable offseason activities.

The NCAA’s plan calls for voluntary strength and conditioning and “enhanced in-person nonphysical activities,” which includes film study and team meetings over the next month. On July 20th, schools are permitted to start summer practices and are limited to a typical offseason workload of eight hours per week, with four hours on the court.

As Juwan Howard returns to campus and welcomes his team back, here’s a list of offseason priorities for the Wolverine head coach now that we know there will be an on-campus offseason program.
