Michigan’s international trip is off to an 0-2 start, with defeats against the Lithuanian national team and its reserve team. The Wolverines lost Moustapha Thiam to an early injury in game one and saw Trey McKenney sit out game two. That’s in addition to Ricky Liburd, Jalen Reed, and Lincoln Cosby sitting out.
For a roster that’s best described as four proven college players and a lot of talented but hypothetical young depth, it makes sense that Michigan has been tested without two of its stars.

Despite the incomplete roster and mixed results, it’s still been an informative trip — an early glimpse at Michigan’s young players, and a reminder that Elliot Cadeau is one of the best point guards in college basketball.
