Michigan among finalists for five-stars Flory Bidunga, Boogie Fland

It’s officially list cutting season in college basketball recruiting after the final grassroots evaluation period ended on Sunday. Two five-star Michigan targets included the Wolverines among their lists of finalists today.

Five-star big man Flory Bidunga is down to four programs: Duke, Kansas, Michigan and Auburn. He’s visited all four schools, including a trip to Michigan this summer and last September, and doesn’t plan to take any additional visits before making a decision.

Duke is the newest suitor in Bidunga’s recruitment and is viewed by many as having the most momentum in his recruitment, offering him in June and hosting him for an official visit.

Biudunga is ranked 4th in the 2024 class, per 247 Sports Composite, and had a terrific summer with Indiana Elite on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.

Class of 2024 Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.) five-star guard Boogie Fland is down to eight, with Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, St. John’s and UConn in the mix.

Fland, the No. 8 player nationally in the 2024 class according to the 247 Sports Composite, has taken official visits to Michigan, Indiana and North Carolina. According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Fland hopes to visit Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland and UConn in September.
