For two hours on Tuesday night, college basketball was fun again.
It’s been a long offseason, after what felt like an even longer season. Michigan needed a fresh start, but I don’t think anyone expected that for a debut. It’s been a while since the Wolverines had one of those games where everything clicked but it happened on Tuesday night.
The ball hummed on offense, made shots were contagious, and every player on Michigan’s bench found a way to get involved in the result. It was one of those nights that created as much confidence on Michigan’s bench as it built for the fans in the stands.
And it was a hell of a way to kick off the new season.
