Dusty May met with the media on Friday to discuss early practices and his team’s progress. Here are five takeaways from his press conference, before the media can observe the Wolverines on the court during Pro Day workouts and practice.
1. May sees nine-man rotation
If the season started tomorrow, Dusty May would be comfortable with a nine-man playing group.
“Probably nine would get sustained minutes,” May said when asked about his rotation. “Or would be considered the rotation, or they’ve all played at a level that you would consider them starters to it to an extent. We’re still tweaking with combinations because of health reasons.
“We haven’t seen, you know, Vlad with Will enough, or Danny with Will, or whatever the case. So there’s still a lot we have to figure out.”
