What I know and what I want to know about Michigan basketball in 2024-25

Michigan opens the 2024-25 basketball season on Monday night (8:00 p.m., BTN) against Cleveland State to officially tip off the Dusty May era.

The Wolverines have a new coaching staff and roster and are starting a new era of the basketball program. Even with a pair of public exhibition games against Division I opponents, it’s still a bit tricky to know what to expect from May’s first squad.

Regardless of that uncertainty, it’s time for an annual tradition: my best take at what I (think I) know about Michigan basketball this season and what I want to know about Michigan basketball this season.
