Columbia point guard Kenny Noland has signed to play at Michigan, On3 reported today.
The 6-foot-2 point guard will be playing a fifth season of eligibility granted to the 2022 high school class through ongoing legal proceedings. He plans to transfer to Ann Arbor to shore up backcourt depth after LJ Cason’s departure. Noland averaged 17.1 points and 3.7 assists per game at Columbia as a senior.
He’s the fourth incoming transfer on Michigan’s roster, joining JP Estrella, Moustapha Thiam and Jalen Reed, and the tenth newcomer in total.
Here’s everything you need to know about the backcourt addition and what he can bring to the table.
