When Bretner Mutombo stepped foot on Michigan’s campus, he was finally able to put his own eyes on the campus his guardian, Bryan Lippman, had been telling him about for a while.
Lippman attended Michigan from 2007-11 and graduated with a degree in sport management. Mutombo visited the Wolverines over the weekend with Lippman at his side.
“Being able to see the school and everything kind of gave him a different perspective than just, ‘Oh, hey, you went to Michigan and I hear about it,’”, Lippman said. “Being able to see it with his own eyes and kind of take it in.”
