The offer came after Howard watched the No. 7 ranked prospect in the class of 2021.
Hardy has taken unofficial visits to USC, UCLA, Arizona State, Michigan, Michigan State and UNLV. He’s slated to visit Arizona next weekend. Hardy is a Michigan native who moved to Las Vegas. His brother, Amauri, is currently a junior guard at UNLV.
There has been speculation that Hardy could eventually reclassify and join the 2020 class, but his father recently told 247 Sports that is just speculation right now.
“We haven’t thought about it,” he told 247 Sports. “People have asked me but we haven’t thought about it.”
Here’s a look at Hardy in action this summer with Las Vegas Elite. Hardy averaged 21 points, 4 rebounds and two assists per game and shooting 38% from 3-point range on the Nike EYBL circuit this summer.
