A month ago, Michigan blew out Houston Baptist at the Crisler Center in preparation for its first real test of the Juwan Howard era. The month that followed was filled with highs and lows and seven consecutive challenging games. The Wolverines won the Battle 4 Atlantis and catapulted into the top-five, only to lose three of their last four games.
Now the Wolverines are back at home to host Presbyterian (12:00 p.m., BTN) with an opportunity to re-group and re-tool before conference play resumes in January.
Presbyterian enters Saturday’s tilt with a 2-9 record, its only win over a Division I opponent coming in overtime at VMI. The Blue Hose have only played one team ranked in the top 100 and are projected to finish near the cellar of the Big South.
