Michigan wasn’t in any position to be picky on Tuesday night. The Wolverines had to go on the road and figure out a way to beat the worst team in the Big Ten. They didn’t have their two best players, but a loss could have been fatal.
It wasn’t always pretty, but the Wolverines got key scoring contributions from eight different players, including strong outings by Eli Brooks, Brandon Johns Jr., and Franz Wagner.
It was an effort sufficient to get a result, and Michigan heads home from Lincoln with its first road win of the year, 79-68.
