Michigan among finalists for George Mason grad transfer Justin Kier

George Mason graduate transfer Justin Kier has Michigan on his final list of seven schools. Kier is considering Michigan, NC State, Georgia, Arkansas, Georgetown, Minnesota and Iowa State.

The 6-foot-4 guard is a graduate transfer who would be immediately eligible to play with one year of eligibility remaining. Kier’s senior season was cut short due to multiple foot injuries and he was limited to just nine games. He was George Mason’s leading scorer in 2018-19, averaging 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Kier is ranked as the No. 17 immediately eligible transfer on the market according to ESPN. For more on Kier, find recent video, scouting notes and a shot chart after the jump.
