It’s not much of a secret that Tarris Reed Jr. is trending toward the top of Michigan’s recruiting board. The 6-foot-10 center wrapped up an official visit to Ann Arbor before the live period kicked off and Juwan Howard was in attendance to watch him in person over the weekend. Reed is focused on Michigan, Purdue, Ohio State and Michigan State — the four schools that he visited officially in June — and could be moving toward a decision sooner than later.
With so much attention shifting to Reed, it felt like an ideal time to take a closer look at his game and how he projects to the Big Ten. We’re experimenting with a new feature this summer, integrating film study and short video clips with some rapid-fire takes on how a prospect would fit at Michigan, where they stand out, and where they need to improve.
