The No. 11 Michigan women’s basketball team comes into the season with its highest-ever preseason ranking and more focus on it than ever. The season after its first Sweet Sixteen birth and one shot from playing UConn in the Elite Eight, three of its starters return, including the program’s first-ever All-American. Still, for it to capitalize on the positive momentum it has a few holes to patch and roles to fill.
