2022-23 Season

What we learned from Michigan’s trip to Europe

Michigan’s overseas exhibition games are in the books, and the school year is less than a week away. The Wolverines spent today on a boat off Mykonos and will head back to the United States tomorrow.

The Wolverines finished 2-1 on the trip with an asterisk as the final game was cut short at halftime. The games were streamed or shared, so video is not available, but a pair of box scores in August is still infinitely more data than we usually have to work with at this point in the calendar.

Here are five takeaways from Michigan’s exhibition tour, including thoughts on the rotation, second group, Jaelin Llewellyn, and what really matters from this trip. We’ve also compiled all of the video clips that have leaked onto the internet for a mini highlight reel.
