It’s now or never for Michigan as it looks to turn its season around. The Wolverines stole an important road game on Thursday but now need to defend home court. Ohio State opens a three-game homestand at the Crisler Center (Sunday, 1:00 p.m., CBS) that will decide if Juwan Howard’s team still has something to play for down the stretch.
The Wolverines likely need to win all three games to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive, and that starts with a struggling Buckeye team. Chris Holtmann’s group has lost eight of its last nine games, including losses to Wisconsin, Nebraska and Minnesota.
The Buckeyes are on the edge of disaster, but Juwan Howard has yet to beat Ohio State in Ann Arbor (0-2) as head coach and his team hasn’t won back-to-back games since the first week of January.
