The Michigan men’s basketball team officially kicks off its new look 2023-24 campaign on Tuesday against UNC Asheville on Tuesday, but the Wolverines paired a secret scrimmage against Marquette with Friday’s 92-45 exhibition win over Northwood to get the competitive juices flowing beforehand.
The Division II Timberwolves squad didn’t put up much of a fight, as expected, making it easier to pile on the scoring and harder to fully gauge how this team stacks up. But seeing Michigan in action against someone other than themselves still leaves plenty to evaluate.
