What we learned about Morez Johnson Jr. and Oscar Goodman at the FIBA U19 World Cup

Morez Johnson Jr. and Oscar Goodman both had productive tournaments at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup in Switzerland.

Johnson earned his second gold medal in as many summers, averaging 9.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as the starting center for Team USA. He chipped in a team-high 15 points and 10 rebounds in the championship game against Germany to cap off a near-perfect week.

Oscar Goodman helped New Zealand secure a second consecutive top-four finish at the world youth stage, the best result in the country’s history.

Here’s what we learned about Morez Johnson Jr. and Oscar Goodman and how they fit into this year’s Michigan team during the seven-game event.
