According to a report by Jon Rothstein, Michigan is working to finalize a scheduling agreement with UConn to play on November 6th at the TD Garden in Boston.
The matchup would be an opening-week rematch of Michigan’s 69-63 national championship win over the Huskies.
Michigan played the toughest schedule in college basketball last season, per KenPom, and is on track to face another difficult slate next season.
The Wolverines are also set to return to the Players Era Festival, face Duke at Madison Square Garden, travel to Villanova, and host Marquette with more non-conference dates yet to be announced.

Yeah it’s a UConn ‘neutral’ game… Similar spot in the schedule to the neutral+neutral with Wake.
