Q3 Why he chose Michigan
A lot of teams wanted you in— in the transfer portal, how important was what you had seen, what this staff had done with other big men in your decision to come here?
I mean, they just done a really good job and everybody, obviously everybody's seen that. And I think if we— when I got in the portal, it was a really easy decision. When I came to visit here, you know, they welcomed me. I like Ann Arbor, I love Ann Arbor, and I like the fan base too. So it was a really easy decision.
Q7 Defense needing work
Elliott said that defense is, you know, an issue that you guys need to work on over the next couple of weeks. What were some of those problems today against them?
I think overall, we just, all of us got to be better on defense and just not allow teams to just get that much points. And I think the next couple of weeks we probably going to be working on that really hard. I think we're going to be good.
Q12 Backcourt with Cadeau and McKenney
Have you ever had a backcourt? Probably not. Like Elliott and Trey, and how much does, like, to the eyes that they require a defense to have on them, how much does that sort of open things up?
Uh, I think I haven't played with, uh, I play with a lot of great guards, first of all, but I think, I don't think I haven't played with guards like Elliot, Trey, and stuff like that. And 3 of us, I think, will be really important piece on the team. And the more we get comfortable being with each other and, you know, playing the games with each other, understanding everybody, what they can do, I think it's going to be great for our team.
