Q7 Depth and consistency of the team
Nah, I'll start with this. Wasn't Aday Mara and Miles' best game yet. You just kind of dominated a really good team. What does it say about this group finding— they've been very consistent this year.
It shows that we can win in a multitude of ways, and I feel like that's what makes us really, really dangerous going into these last 3 games and, you know, taking it one game at a time. In the first half, we felt like, you know, we weren't fully in the moment and understanding this is Alabama we were playing against. And so just everybody having each other's back, Trey stepping up, Roddy Gayle stepping up, Yaxel Lendeborg being his usual self, Elliot Cadeau controlling the pace and the tempo of the game.
Like we all got each other's back. So if any of us have a down night, you got the rest of us to pick each other up.
Q9 Halftime message and defense
What was the message at halftime from your head coach?
Defensively, we have to turn it up a notch in the sense of taking pride one-on-one, but also having great switches. Our switches wasn't as sharp in the first half, and also we were getting beat up on the glass offensively. That's what led to a majority of their threes and Playing for Bama, I understand they like to, as soon as they get the offensive rebound, they look and they kick out threes.
I forgot the term for it, but they're very mindful of it and then we cleaned that up in the second half. And when you guys look at what you're able to do, just kind of put your foot on the gas and take control of the second half, how critical is that for what comes next? Yeah, I mean, it's everything, especially at this time that, I mean, it's do or die.
It's one game at a time and nothing is guaranteed. I try to voice that to our team and, you know, just to return it for Roddy Gayle at this moment. And let's not take it for granted and maximize it after the game.
Q14 How hot the pass was
It's a blast. Did it come in pretty hot? It looked like it had some sizzle on it.
Yeah. I mean, you know, we talk about winning the catch as a team every single day. We work on catching crazy passes. Those little margins help you for moments like this.
