Q2 Yaxel Lendeborg's passive play

You said yesterday he was being a little passive.

Offensive, but I don't think so I think just his ability to— I don't even look at the points. It looks so effortless. I don't feel like he's trying most of the time. But just the way he would fight the game in different areas as far as defensively, rebounding, and stuff like that.

I'm definitely jealous. I wish I was 6'9", 7-something wingspan, but obviously, I hate— he's an unreal specimen. But just the way that he— I think he can be more disruptive defensively, but I mean, I feel like he uses his gifts to his advantage.

Q3 Recapturing earlier-season form

Does it feel like you guys have maybe recaptured your earlier season form these past two games?

I still think that we got room to grow. I feel like we're headed in the right direction at this point in the year, but I still feel like we got some stuff to smooth out if we really want to be

play with the last game. What was it about those last 5 games, or the last 2 of the regular season, the Big Ten tournament?

I'm more than happy we don't have to really see any Big Ten teams. Just because I think being up on each other all year long, like, really takes a toll on the body and the mental. I feel like Big Ten is the best, toughest, you know, conference in the country, so. I think it's a lot easier.

It's not as much big guys. We're allowed to get up and down. We're not playing Purdue every night. I mean, I wouldn't say it's easier, but it's a lot less pressure knowing that we will be able to go get some guys.

We'll be able to dominate the paint, knowing things like that and being able to just do what we do best.

Q6 Defending Avila and Cunningham's offense

Avila was 3 for 13 from the floor, 3 for 10 from 3. How do you think Aday, but also the rest of the team, just disrupted Cunningham's offense?

I think our size and physicality something that he probably hasn't seen before. We knew that was going to be one of our key points going into the game, especially with, you know, a guy his size and length. He wasn't really going to gain anything going to the basket, but I feel like our ability to be able to switch on and off of him, show him different looks, was really the key to the win. Appreciate it, Roddy. Congrats.
