Dusty May press conference after win vs. Howard

Um, there was a couple botched switches. A few of them were our transition defense. We weren't getting good matchups, and so they had— I mean, look, Aday is 7'4" and and his instincts are to protect the rim. And they're going at him with a head of steam and they're making step-back threes and they're making difficult shots.

They have really good individual players and shot creators. And so they were making them, you know, so we had to make the decision, do we keep playing or do we go smaller and match them?

Or do we throw the ball in and take advantage of his skills?

And I thought his passing in the first half offensively was elite. And then his finishing in the second half was obviously

I mean, that's why we made the threes. We throw it in, everybody collapses, we throw it out. If we throw it in and they don't collapse, we don't. So no, we just, we take what the game gives us. Multiple guys guard him, he passes. They don't, he scores. You guys don't score a lot of different ways.

Will was really good. I thought he gave us a jolt the first half. He started off well, then hit a lull. And I thought he gave us a jolt second half. I thought he had some really nice looks that he's got to bang in for us.
