Q2 Reaction to Lendeborg's game-winner

Can you take us through the reaction of Yaxel Lendeborg's game winner? What, what'd you see? How'd it feel when you saw it go in?

Oh yeah, no, like immediately I'm different. So like, see the ball go in, I'm looking at the clock. Yeah, like, because I'm trying to make sure, like, you know, we win the game at the end of the day. It was a big shot, and like, I'm happy for him, and I know I've seen him make that shot every day.

Just like seeing him being confident in himself and knowing that, stepping up in big moments, that's the player that he is. So as they're celebrating, I'm trying to like make sure nobody runs on the court, make sure we can get a stop and close this game off. Because I know I've seen it was still time on the clock, so I was just trying to make sure we got our team set.

Q5 Trust in combo guards

I feel like I lock For you, with Elliot Cadeau in foul trouble in that first half and L.J. obviously off for the year, you guys don't really have a true lead guard off the deep half court. And eventually, you know, Yaxel Lendeborg and Trey have kind of taken over those duties whenever he has to go out. What can you say about the trust that Dusty May has given, you know, your group of, you know, combo guard kind of guys? And how have you handled that new pressure and new responsibility?

I feel like it's a great responsibility when the head coach comes to you late in the season with a new role. And I feel like that I'm more than capable of doing it. And just having that kind of responsibility, that kind of courage from a head coach to be able to look towards you and face it like this. I feel like it's a learning experience for us three.

It's something that we have never done in our careers, but I feel like it's still always a learning process. These past two games, we've been able to just find different ways to get off his floor.

Q8 Elliot Cadeau's second-half step up

How'd you see Elliot Cadeau kind of step up in that second half after getting foul trouble in that first half?

I feel like he stayed composed. I know how hard it is to be able to get in foul trouble and then just be like, watch, especially him being our lone floor general operator. So it's hard to watch, you know, especially as an offense when we had like 26 points in the first half. So definitely I feel like his awareness and his confidence coming in the second half and be able to kind of lead our offense and get us organized.
