Q2 What clinching a share means
Your coach said you didn't want to share, but to do it, you know, this early in the season, get a share and then still have a few games left to win it, I guess, what does that mean overall?
Just means that we put in a lot of hard work and we deserve it and the work shows. But for us to win it this early, it just allows us to just play basketball the right way for the rest of the season and just try to be as connected as we can be. When did you realize that you guys had a team that could win the Big Ten title? I think after Players' Era, how we were just running through teams.
I think we definitely got a sense of it and we just tried to keep it going from there.
Q9 Behind-the-scenes work on point guard play
Talk to us about the work you've done behind the scenes. What have coaches stressed with you most to improve your game throughout this year?
I definitely say leadership. Just watching a lot of film. I think I learned a lot from Elliot Cadeau. I think I watch his film every day and just learning how to be a point guard.
Q15 Focusing after the Duke game
Is it tough coming off that Duke game to focus and, you know, get some team that you know short-handed on a short—
No, I don't think so. I think coming off of Duke, we should have been more locked in, but I think we came out lax today and wasn't prepared enough for that game.
