Q1 Dusty May keeping him in
What does it mean to you when Dusty May stayed with you when you got those two quick fouls and you really responded well to keep leaving you in there?
Yeah, I mean, it was like a respect amongst each other, him respecting and knowing that I'm a smart player and that I can, you know, defend without fouling again. It just shows that, you know, we have a higher level of maturity amongst our coaching staff and amongst us as well, that we can trust each other out there.
Q3 Dunks versus threes
When you're in a zone like that, I mean, there was that stretch in the first half, you had like 3 baseline dunks in a row, and then first 5 5 minutes of the second half, you drilled like 4 threes, a lot of them from the same spot. Well, I mean, which, which one of those is more fun?
I'm gonna take the dunks, especially, uh, at this point in my career. Um, but also it's just a credit to me taking care of my body, and I feel like I'm still one of the most athletic people on the team. I think Roddy Gayle probably beats me in vertical a little bit, but other than that, I'm up there.
Q5 Defending many scoring options
How challenging do you think it is for teams to defend your team because you have so many options that a guy can have 31 after having a quiet night, and one guy can have 6 after having, you know, 20.
No, it just shows the versatility, the depth of our team. I mean, when Dusty May joined us together, we were like, man, we got a 7'3" guy who has amazing skill, and then we have an elite point guard, play makes at elite level. Then you have Yaxel Lendeborg, who's like a bag of everything. You have Morez and the rest down the line.
Trey, L.J., Roddy Gayle, etc. I mean, we have a team that's super talented. We're all, you know, one of the best guys at our high schools and coming together and with a common goal. I think that's the most important thing.
