Have you seen Yaxel Lendeborg kind of come into his own throughout the first 4 games, especially kind of get more comfortable as this game went on?
Oh yeah. I mean, I've been saying it since I've seen him. I feel like sometimes he look like LeBron on the court. I tell him all the time, but yeah, it looks so easy for him. He's starting to really figure it out and it's only gonna get better. He's only gonna make us better and the team around him.
Q13 Emotion for Auburn rematch
One of those teams waiting for you guys in the Players Era Tournament next week is Auburn in a Sweet Sixteen rematch. Any extra emotion to that game at all?
Definitely. It's time to get our getback for the ones that was here last year. But I think we all know what the game is going to be like, what the intensity is going to bring. And I mean, we all want it. We all know what we came here for. We all want a national championship. So the best— like, the game is bigger than the game. We know that that was set up for the future.
Q14 Sweet Sixteen game motivation
Did that game motivate you guys at all in the offseason? Like, thinking back to what that feeling was like?
Most definitely. It definitely pushed me to be better, knowing that I know what it takes to get there, and I know what it would take to get past that. And I want— I have bigger dreams than just the Sweet Sixteen now.
