Yaxel Lendeborg reacts to win over Middle Tennessee

I feel like that was the worst I've ever played in my life, honestly. And then me just thinking about what it's going to look like on my name if I do that bad and I let it consume me. I feel like I lost that game. I had hopes of us at least getting to 10-0 before we lose. So, you know, it was just a really hard time for me. I was missing layups, dropping rebounds, missing a lot of threes. So it was just, it was a bad time for me.

It just shows me who I am and who I was before I got here. I feel like when I got here, I started to try to become more of a 3-and-D player, but that's not who I am. You know, I have a lot of time in the offseason to develop that. I gotta stick to my roots and stick to what made me Yaxel Lendeborg, you know? So I feel like today helped me out a lot, you know, just realizing what I can do and how aggressive I need to be to be dominant.

Yeah, I've been hearing a lot about that, seeing it on Twitter, Instagram, everywhere. We know who we are. We're not acting like we're the best team in the nation. We're playing like we're the hunters still, not the hunted, regardless our rankings. So, uh, today was the beginning of us showing everybody that we're not 7 minutes away.
